I've spent some time in Marocco over the years. Something striking there are the mausolea celebrating the holy men. One of them was erected for Moulay Idriss 1st, grand son of the Prophet, near Meknes.

The memories of this place stayed vivid forever. 

I don't use red often. But the strength of this colour was the only possibility.
