I made the prints on the pages of a book that i found at the flee market. It was a collection of names, by alphabetical order. I was shocked to find that such a thing could exist . I first bought it to make it disappear from the public eye but later, it became part of my work.
The title of the series is in French and means 'Marshalling Yard', where wagons are sorted out.
Once, during an exhibition in Bonn, a woman found her own name on one of them, it was a very intense moment
